Please join us for this inaugural seminar series sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute in partnership with the College of Applied Health Sciences and the School of Social Work Community Learning Lab.

Health Disparities: Promoting Local and Global Health Equity is IHSI's newest program area. We are working closely with faculty, administration, and community partners to identify, expand, and support new research and community-based initiatives to reduce health disparities.

Spring 2018 series
The spring series featured three community partnerships in the areas of increasing food security, improving maternal health outcomes, and advancing early childhood health. More than 175 community members, students, staff, and faculty attended these exciting seminars in an effort to make our community and nation a healthier and more equitable place.
